Community Involvement
Committed to the Community.
Baird has a long tradition of giving back to the communities where our associates live and work.
Our team is committed to supporting the communities in which we live and work by volunteering our time and using our resources. Our ongoing commitment to building relationships in the community and empowering associates to get involved is central to our culture at Baird and our team.
We've engaged with several outstanding organizations, some of which are listed below.
NDA Mentor Coaching Program
The Mentor Coaching Program, created by the Premontre Class of 1978, provides coaching to students in the areas of academic guidance, encouragement and emotional support and leading students to opportunities after high school Jim and Jack are both mentor coaches at Notre Dame Academy.
Friends of PALS, Youth & Families
Friends of PALS youth and family’s mission is to raise, manage and distribute funds or in-kind donations specifically to help meet the needs of Brown County Health & Human Services children youth and Families. They are dedicated to supporting the work and missions of the Families divisions. Jack currently serves on the board of directors and is fueled by the organization’s work and dedication to help create a better life for the kids that need it the most.
First Tee - Northeast Wisconsin
The First Tee of Northeast Wisconsin is dedicated to help positively impact, influence and inspire young people in the community through the game of golf. Jack began as a coach with the First Tee in 2017 in the Green Bay area and continued to help coach in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area while living there. Through his passion for the sport, he hopes to show how the game of golf can have a positive impact on a person’s life, not only on the course but off it as well.
Allouez Optimist Club
“A friend in youth”, The Allouez Optimist Club of Green Bay was chartered in 1976. The club is part of Optimist International (www.optimist.org), residing within the WINUM District (www.winum.com). This co-ed organization is a mixed group of individuals from retirees to young professionals with a breadth of life experiences to draw from. The purpose of the club is to raise funds to support youth and youth activities within the Village of Allouez and surrounding communities. Jim has been a member for more than 25 years.
Baird Gives Back
Many Baird associates team up during Baird Gives Back Week, an event held annually in the spring, to serve local community organizations that are in need of help.
This year, our team participated in Baird Gives Back Week by helping with food distribution at Paul's Pantry in Green Bay and landscape cleanup at the Neville Public Museum.
